It Hard to Believe but Christmas... next week! I've got so much to do! It's an incredible time of the year. I've found that as I've gotten older it's a bit harder to find the Christmas Spirit of days gone by.

Don't misunderstand, as I read the story of my Savior's birth, and His coming, my heart and eyes mist over with tears of thankfulness and joy. It's then that the true Spirit of Christmas touches my heart and warms my memories.

I now have grandchildren. Two beautiful girls...Eowynn Elle...and ...Kiani Jade...they are, without a doubt, my most precious delights of life. I'm blessed to watch them grow, learn, change, and warm the hearts of their parents. I think it gives me as much joy to see the kids with their kids, as it did to be with my own. Thank you Lord.

You may wonder what this has to do with Christmas...well...if I received nothing else but the health, happiness, and peace of my children's earthly gift would be complete.

My gift from my Father was given long ago and is a Living Gift that keeps on giving. Thank you Father for your precious Son. May this be a time of great revival that all who seek Him my experience the joy of our Savior.

God bless you all!

In Him,

I found this fascinating quote today:

The Word of God is so important in our lives. Without it we are without direction. Without it we are powerless. But when we faithfully read the Word and heed it, we have our lives mapped out for us, we know which road to take and we have a wonderful promise: "And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left." Isaiah 30:21. Directions for life. It's comforting to have them at your fingertips. Another promise from the Lord is that He will never leave us. (Hebrews 13:5) So, we not only have access to the directions we need to live by, we have the Guide to walk us through. What more can we ask? Our destination is assured. Let's follow in His footsteps.DIANE STEPHENSON, MY HEALTHY LIVING BLOG, Dec 2009

It's Almost Here...Are You Ready...

or is it Too Late?

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. Luke 2:11

It used to be that I feared that the commercialism of Christmas time would skew the real meaning of Christmas. That somehow Christ would be lost in all the hub-bub of the holiday season.

When I ask, are you ready...I'm not asking whether your Christmas shopping is done or whether your decorating meets with your approval. I'm not wondering whether your Christmas cards are in the mail or whether your dinner preparations are complete.

What do I want to know?

The desire of my heart is to know if you're ready to celebrate the real meaning of Christmas.

In the book of Isaiah....over 750 years before Christ was born...God told us He was coming...a promise was made...and kept.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isa 9:6

Now, my heart is no longer burdened that Christ will be lost in the commercialism of the's that Christ will be lost because we are losing our freedom to share Him.

I can't believe my eyes! So much has been taken from us.

The Lord recently supplied a job for was my first "real" impression of what is happening. I work in the corporate office and as signs were being prepared to show our "closing" days for the season, much ado was made about whether the signs should have "Santa" on them or whether that alone may offend someone.

Are you hearing this? Santa is now in question, even to the secular world. Christmas is disappearing...let alone the true meaning that we hold and cherish in our heart.

Celebrate's true meaning...all that God had given and continues to give through His precious Son, Jesus Christ. Let not your heart be troubled, for God is watching.

Celebrate, sing, and rejoice for a Savior has come!

He Lives!

In Him,

So Much to Be Thankful For ...

...and So Many to Thank

So much...really, even in these times, so much to be thankful for...Blessed beyond measure in so many ways.

Are you? I bet you are.

I'm sure that if you sat down for a moment and gave some thought to what you have and what you have in abundance you'd be shocked.

Recently, and it's ongoing, my husband and I were going through some financial difficulty. We've been cutting costs at every corner in order to make ends meet (we are not there yet, but we will be). At any rate, as we started cutting back, I couldn't help but look around at how much we had!

Not only how much we had, but how much we had in abundance of what we needed. Yes, the Lord was opening our eyes to some financial "indescretions" and I'm thankful for it. I now look and buy with a careful eye.

With that said, Christmas is upon us and it's time to shop for those special loved ones and friends. Please take a moment to visit my shop Sharing Zazzle Success for unique and adorable gift items.

Yes, I'll do custom orders for you, but hurry Christmas is almost here! I can change designs, mix and match...just let me know what you'd like and I'll do my best to create it for you.

Hope to see you shopping!
